The New Nursery School

Each child is a person of worth, deserving of our love and respect.

The New Nursery School (NNS) of The United Church of Christ Norwell was founded in 1977 as an outreach mission of the church to support families across the South Shore in nurturing the educational development of children. NNS is nondenominational and licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. A volunteer Parent Advisory Committee, made up of parents of current students, coordinates parent and family events throughout the school year to connect, engage, and build our community. In addition, UCC Norwell continues to oversee operations in collaboration with The New Nursery School Director. NNS provides a warm and nurturing preschool environment for children ages 2-5 years old, where the spirit of discovery is encouraged through activities appropriate to their developmental levels. NNS strives to provide a sense of community for children and parents in which love, support, and respect for self and others will maximize all of the child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive growth in a setting where they are valued and respected as individuals. Contact Director, Kim Foster, for more information about curriculum, tours, and enrollment.
